Who we are and what we do...

 

About ARS

The purposes of the chapter shall be those of the American College of Radiology:

  • Advancing the science of radiology

  • Improving radiologic service to patients and the medical community

  • Studying the economics of radiology

  • Encouraging improved and continued education for radiologists

  •  Establishing and maintaining high medical and ethical standards in the practice of radiology.

Arizona Radiological Society.  The chapter is an affiliate of the American College of Radiology. We operate under the Code of Ethics of the American College. 

Highlights of activities:

  • Participation in National Meeting - ARS sends two members of its executive committee as delegates.  ARS also pays for two residents' way to participate in the event.  Our involvement allows young radiologists a chance to get involved.
  • We hold quarterly meetings.
  • We have an End-of-Year meeting with keynote speaker of interest.
